RESIDENTIAL TIME-OF-USE RATE
SCHEDULE A-TOU

Available in all territory served by the Cooperative in accordance with the Service Rules and Regulations.  Availability of this rate will be limited to the first 100 accounts that apply. 

APPLICABILITY

Applicable to residential and farm consumers for all uses including lighting, heating and power, subject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative.  Service under this schedule is limited to installations that serve at a minimum, permanent, year-round residences.  Service under this schedule is also limited to installations requiring not more than a 320 amp service. 

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

       1.The consumer must agree to take service under Schedule A-TOU for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive months. 

       2.Schedule A-TOU will be limited to applications from qualifying consumers receiving service on or after the effective date.

TYPE OF SERVICE

Single-phase, 60 hertz, at available voltages. 

RATE-MONTHLY

       All kWh of Off-Peak Energy                @        4.1 cents per kWh
       All kWh of On-Peak Energy                @        13.08 cents per kWh

MINIMUM CHARGE

The minimum monthly charge shall be $23.25 per month. 

TAXES

In addition to the above charges, the Member shall reimburse and pay to the Cooperative an amount equal to any Federal, State or local taxes assessed or charged for the sale or furnishing of electricity by the Cooperative to the Member; said amounts to be added to the Member's monthly bills.


WHOLESALE PURCHASED POWER ADJUSTMENT        

The Cooperative's base rates are designed to recover a base wholesale power cost of .053797 mills/kWh plus the wholesale fuel adder from our power supplier.  The Cooperative may implement the Wholesale Purchase Power Cost Adjustment to recover changes in the wholesale power cost.  The foregoing energy charges per kWh may be increased or decreased each month by the amount the wholesale power cost varies from the base cost plus the fuel adder.  Base cost is defined as demand, energy and power factor. 

DETERMINATION OF ON-PEAK AND OFF-PEAK ENERGY

The On-Peak Period shall be those hours, Monday through Sunday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. during the summer months (May 1 - September 30).  All other hours shall be considered the Off-Peak Period. 

The On-Peak period shall be those hours, Monday through Sunday, beginning at 6:00 a.m. and ending 9:00 a.m. and beginning at 5:00 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. during the winter months (January, February, March, April, October, November and December).  All other hours shall be considered the off peak period. 

TERMS OF PAYMENT

The above rates are net, the gross rates being 5% higher.  In the event the current monthly bill is not paid by the due date, the gross rates shall apply.

ADDITIONAL ADJUSTMENTS AND RIDERS

The bill calculated at the above rate is subject to change in such an amount as may be determined under the provisions of the Corporation's Service Rules and Regulations or upon action by SEIEC's Board of Directors including but not limited to termination of this schedule.
