“This is an exciting day for the Cooperative’s members, Board of Trustees and employees. The new facility will fulfill numerous needs and improvements including more convenient access for electric members served throughout the ten county region, more member conveniences including a drive-thru facility, provide for the needed vehicle storage space to allow Cooperative equipment to be stored inside, provide the needed warehouse space for Cooperative equipment, improve security and improve efficiencies. This is only part of the improvements that will be fulfilled in the new facility” said SEIEC President/CEO Dustin Tripp.
The construction of this new facility will bring numerous construction job opportunities to the area along with numerous other direct and indirect economic benefits to the surrounding area.
The facility is scheduled to be completed by July 2016.
